Now there is a more comfortable solution for patients who are hesitant to start or maintain their facial filler injection treatments because of perceived discomfort during injection.
Both Juvederm-XC as well as Restylane-L and Perlane-L have "numbing"
medicine (lidocaine) mixed in with their product. This results is much
less discomfort. Patients are noting a much more pleasant "filler"
experience. The pre-mixed with lidocaine syringes are noticeably more
comfortable than even those syringes that we have manually mixed with
lidocaine in the past.
