In marriage we all know the saying, “Happy Wife, Happy Life” (wonder who first coined that?)

It seems that everyone is talking about being HAPPY lately. There is the current Top 40 song, “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, the movie/documentary, “Happy” which takes us on a journey from the swamps of Louisiana to the slums of Kolkata in search of what really makes people happy, and then there are numerous books about happiness including “The Art of Happiness” by the Dalai Lama.

One of our goals at Persky Sunder Facial Plastic Surgery is to help our patients be happy with their appearance. This involves analyzing each patient on an individual basis, discuss what bothers them, what their goals are over time, creating an unique treatment plan for the patients needs, and lastly using our creative artistic vision along with our technical skills to help them reach and maintain their aesthetic goals.

It’s been said that “Happiness= Reality-Expectations”. Realistic expectations are essential to happiness after aesthetic treatments. We will tell you if we think that your expectations are not realistic, or beyond the scope of facial cosmetic treatments. Sometimes the best treatment for you is no treatment at all. We will not create unnatural puffed faces, cheeks and lips on a stick, or appearances that cry out, “Bad Plastic Surgery!”

Finally, we have found that our patients who trust our experience, skills, and artistic vision are happier, more relaxed, and not worried. As Bobby McFerrin says, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”
