Dr. William Harris
Dr. William Harris is a board-certified fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. A southern gentleman at heart, Dr. Harris grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and went on to complete his undergraduate degree at Elon University in North Carolina where he studied biology, chemistry, and the fine arts. He then spent almost a decade in the culturally rich city of New Orleans, Louisiana where he completed his medical school training at Louisiana State University and then a highly selective head & neck surgery residency at the renowned Tulane University.
An artist from a young age, Dr. Harris found a natural passion for facial plastic surgery during his residency and was accepted into one of just fifty coveted AAFPRS facial plastic surgery fellowship positions in the country. During his fellowship in Palo Alto, California, Dr. Harris had the unique opportunity to train with world-class mentors as well as to work with and teach Stanford University residents while performing the full spectrum of facial plastic and reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Harris also has a strong interest in medical charity work and has traveled internationally to various countries including Honduras, Haiti, and India to provide medical services and surgery for those who have little or no access to care. In addition, he is honored to be a contributing surgeon member for the Face Forward organization, which offers support and pro-bono surgeries for domestic and international survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and cruel acts of crime.
His particular areas of expertise are rhinoplasty and aging face surgery including the highly sought after deep-plane face and neck lift, blepharoplasty, brow lift, fat transfer, and chin augmentation among others. In addition, Dr. Harris specializes in Mohs defect reconstruction and other reconstructive techniques for head and neck defects that are either from cancer, trauma, or congenital in nature.
Whether addressing cosmetic, post-traumatic, or congenital needs, Dr. Harris feels very fortunate to possess a skillset that enables him to help people from all walks of life feel more whole and confident within themselves. He truly believes in an individualized approach for every patient he sees and that obtaining a high-quality natural result is really the only way to sucess. When he is not seeing patients in the office or operating, Dr. Harris enjoys golfing, skiing, painting, and traveling. He is excited to have fulfilled a long-term dream to settle in Southern California and looks forward to working together to help achieve your aesthetic goals.
