00.25 – Recovery time of mini facelift
The mini facelift is performed through a smaller incision in front of the ear and behind the ear. The extent of dissection out under the face is usually a little bit less and the depth of the dissection is also a lot less. Usually it doesn’t involve the deep plane.
It’s a quicker procedure, the recovery time is still about the same in terms of the stitches being in place. The swelling and bruising might be a little bit less but still the patients need to know that they are in for about a week to ten days of recovery.
