The Los Angeles Kings hockey club are in the midst of the semi-finals for the Stanley Cup against the thus far out-matched Phoenix CoyotesDita von Teese, the high priestess of burlesque is currently performing her flawless show (this week at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas).  Drs. Sunder and Persky are using their skills daily to enhance and create beauty on the faces of their patients.  What the heck is the common thread between these three utterly different activities?

What does witnessing the Los Angeles Kings  and seeing Ms. von Teese’s show have to do with the beauty of facial aesthetic surgery?  All three involve attention to detail, intense focus, concentration,  visualization,  and lastly the physical execution of the task at hand to be successful.

Dita von Teese’s  “Strip Strip Hooray” tour was impeccably produced by Ms. Melissa Dishell.  Dita’s four burlesque productions were creations of beauty on an unprecedented scale.    This is a sample of her glowing review from the Los Angeles Times this weekend,  “Her attention to detail and embellished glitz onstage is unparalleled, even for pop stars. From the sparkle of each and every Swarovski crystal (hundreds of thousands swathe pretty much every prop and article of clothing in the production) to the sensual lighting that caresses her slender porcelain frame to the vampy music that sets the mood for the procession of themed vignettes — including her classic martini glass sponge bath, cowgirl steer grind, powder compact dance and Opium Den climax — your eye cannot turn away from the utter flawlessness of it all.”
As far as the commitment and excellence displayed by the LA Kings, our physicians not only can take care of their facial injuries, treat their wounds and scars with fractionated lasers, but much prefer to take care of  beautiful wives and girlfriends of the players with the latest aesthetic beauty treatments.

Beauty can be found in so many unexpected places, this week we are inspired by that created by our hockey team, and an incredible burlesque artist.  Enjoy the beauty of life and be well!
