Actual RealSelf Patient Comment: Can filler or Sculptra be injected into the corner under my nostrils?

Dr. Persky’s Reply: Sculptra is commonly injected at the corner of the nose along with injecting it throughout the face. If I am treating a patient for facial rejuvenation, I almost always inject Sculptra on the bone at the corner of the nose. Adding filler at the corner of the nose helps alleviate the naso-labial fold. Sculptra in this area requires multiple treatments separated by 8 to 12 weeks. For a patient who only wants this area treated, I would recommend having 0.5 ml of a hyaluronic acid filler such as Restylane Lyft or Voluma injected on the bone instead. This an area that should only be injected by an expert physician injector as it must be done carefully and properly to avoid catastrophic complications.
